Create a border that is as functional as it is decorative. We used 1" x 4" pine and drilled glue pegs or knobs into place approximately every 8". When planning the placement of the pegs, make sure you don't end up with two together in the corner. (Optional) Screw a 1" by 4" pine board on top of pegged board to create a functional and decorative shelf. This shelf is ideal for bathrooms, laundry rooms, or just about anywhere you want to show off your hang ups.
